We require certain information to allow us to process your flight booking. This includes your name, address, telephone number, and email address, as well as your credit or debit card number and expiry date. We also need to know all the names of the passengers travelling.

Airflights Direct Ltd passes personal data, which includes information regarding payment or passenger details, to the credit or debit card company that issued the card, or to the tour operator with which your booking is made.

This information allows us to process your flight booking and to send you confirmation of your booking by email or post. We ask for your telephone number so that we can contact you to confirm the details of your booking and/or if there is a problem with your reservation.

We may occasionally use the information we collect to notify you about new Airflights Direct Ltd services and special offers we think you may find valuable. If you would prefer not to receive this information through your door or by email, please call us on 0800 083 7007.

Please note that some or all of the above Caricom states will enter into an agreement with the USA whereby advance passenger data, required by and provided to Caricom states for border security purposes, will be passed to the USA Department for Homeland Security for processing.

The UK Information Commissioner,s Office has accepted that this will not breach the Data Protection Act but has advised airlines operating to Caricom states to make passengers considering travelling to Caricom states aware that personal information provided by them may be passed on for processing as above.

By joining the Airflights Direct Ltd email update service, we will email you our latest news and information regarding special offers. For example, we will often give advanced notice of our fantastic sales, so that you can be amongst the first to pick up a great bargain! You will need to provide us with your email address, if you wish to subscribe to this service. You can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the foot of each e-mail newsletter.

When you enter an Airflights Direct Ltd competition or other promotional offer, we may ask for your name, address and e-mail address so we can administer the contest and notify winners.

Occasionally we ask you to email us with your opinion on a particular subject, and may publish a selection of these comments on our web site. However, if you advise us that you do not wish to have your comment and name published, we will not do so.

We use tracking software to monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of the site to better meet the needs of visitors to Airflights.co.uk. This software does not enable us to capture any personally identifying information.

Your payment details are protected by a 128bit data encryption in our software when you book with us.

Furthermore, as required by the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.

Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive, and enable Airflights Direct Ltd to provide features such as remembering your address, so that you don't have to re-enter it each time you make a booking (this service is opt-in). Cookies can be deleted from your hard drive if you wish. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change your browser settings to prevent that. Even without a cookie you can use most of the features on the web site. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information.

Airflights Direct Ltd does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We never disclose information about a passenger to any other person or organisation without your consent unless there is an emergency situation that requires it or we are legally required to do so.

Airflights Direct Ltd reserves the right to pass your information on to trustworthy third parties that we use for the provision of certain services, for instance allowing Airflights Direct Ltd customers to book hotels and car hire services quickly and easily by transferring details from the Airflights Direct Ltd booking form to our partners' booking forms. If a subsequent booking is not made with our partner, the personal information transferred is automatically deleted.

Airflights Direct Ltd passes your personal data onto the Civil Aviation Authority for the purposes of insuring compliance with and the enforcement of ATOL regulations.

We may record and monitor telephone calls. These recordings are used for the purpose of training, quality control and our mutual security purposes.

In using the Airflights Direct Ltd web site, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Airflights Direct Ltd in the ways described above.
